38 | Solomon | Prostate Cancer

Solomon is a prostate cancer warrior. When he was diagnosed early 2021, the plan had been to start hormonal therapy as well as surgery, however the surgery had to be cancelled due to bladder involvement. Solomon began chemotherapy instead and is now receiving proton radiation therapy.

Due to his illness, fatigue and appointments for treatment, Solomon fell behind on his rent and was evicted. He has been trying to get back on his feet while living in a hotel by delivering for a fast food delivery service as he’s able to do so. Unfortunately his family does not have the ability to help support him financially as he’s going through his cancer journey.

KWF had the pleasure of meeting Solomon in person to present his grant. He is a very kind man and really just wants to get back on his feet as quickly as possible.

We were honored to be able to provide a financial grant to help Solomon during this difficult time.
