24 | Michael | Pancreatic Cancer

Michael is a Pancreatic Cancer Warrior who was diagnosed at the end of 2020. He has undergone twelve rounds of chemo. Michael is not a candidate for surgery, but he is currently undergoing proton therapy at NMH in Warrenville, IL. He will most likely require some form of cancer treatment for the rest of his life due to the aggressive nature of his disease. Michael is the primary caregiver to his two teenage children, as he lost his wife to cancer in 2018. Michael has had to drop his work hours to part-time due to his diagnosis.
